Hermit Homecoming

Service Description

«Hermit Homecoming» is a solo performance about the journey to finding home. I am sharing my story through the metaphor of a young hermit crab, Hermit, who rebels against a home-swapping ritual that all hermit crabs obey. One day she decides to run away from home. The universe for the performance is in a family-friendly atmosphere with magic and myths. I collaborate with Nordic Black Theatre, and the production with premiere is in March 2022 at Cafeteatret. The performance will be ready for touring after the premiere. The story about Hermit is also created as a fable in a coloring book. It is intended to be a part of the physical program for the performance.
